Mine also moved from NSC to TSC in July 2009. I applied I-485 from CA and moved to OH in 2008. But still OH and CA falls under NSC.
The reason for the transfer might be my I-140 was filed in TSC.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies...that is a touch reassuring
I spoke to my lawyer. She said she was re-sending the app in today with a cover letter explaining the wrongful rejections. She said that if they still reject it, she will go through the liaison and try to get them to accept it. Is this standard procedure?
Secondly, on a different note, I am not sure who did it or why, someone gave me a red dot.

Hi Nair/Perm,
I am not a returning US resident.
One of the companies sponsored my H1B and I am trying to get the visa stamped in India.
I got the wage report from the company but not the "Unemployment" wage report, so I am confused.
Any help about the document would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,
Today i got an alert form USCIS that the pending 485s (for my wife and myself) have been transferred from NSC to TSC. Wanted to see if others with 485s pending at NSC have seen similar action.
My priority date is Oct 2005 and my 485 has been pending at NSC since July 2007.

Hello everyone,new to the forum
Anyway,filed i-485 in 1997 and was interview 1999 and stamp in passport adjustment status pending,b;cos of past immigration issues.Then i did recieve letter that my family petition was accepted then two weeks recieved another letter stated my application was denial due to my past issues so i had to leave the country and reapply. My lawyer said she had to file a motion,did charge alot of money.Did not hear anything till i went there to check my status and the officer told me i was in the process of deportation,so she gave me the date.So i went to my lawyer to check if she knew anything and she said your case is pending,so i ask her if she can call and check whereby she did and find out i was in the processes of deportation,now she told she need more money and if i do not pay that amount she can not go the court with me,so i did offer some amount and she refuse.
So i went to the immigration court and i did win the case,and now she find out that i did win the case so trying to be my attorney.
I do need to file for Ead because my old one was revorke,do i have to file for another i-485 or not?Another thing my lawyer had my file how do i track my old receipt number.Can someone please help me, i do have the original judgement from the immigration court
Get a new competent lawyer ! If you were in deportation proceedings and you won the case, then the IJ should have granted you the adjustment of status right then and there.

could you please share when you applied for AP so that we can know how long it took for approval after RFE...
Applied for EAD/AP online on 06/04/2008.
Got 2 years EAD approved on 08/05/2008.
Got an RFE for AP (missing photos) on 08/07/08.
replied for RFE on 08/13/08.
AP approved on 09/13 and got it on 09/20

Such a post would replace the word IV with Senate/House and the word core with the names of four important persons involved with our issues:
1. Nancy Pelosi (Madam speaker),
2. Zoe Lofgren (Chair, House subcommittee on Immigration),
3. Harry Reid (Senate Majority Leader),
4. Ted Kennedy (Chair, Senate House subcommittee on Immigration).
Come on TIGER these are the sites to vent your frustation. You will get your GC (overnight delivery or even personal delivery by Nancy Pelosi + Harry Reid) with the above kind of posts. It will also show the way to the dumb contributing IV members.
Please lead the way at the above kind of sites.

i think, not sure, if you are in US then for renewal in same visa category (or) to transfer from one visa category to another (like F to H visa, etc.), you can goto canada or mexico or india for visa revalidation.
But for new first time H1 visa, i think you should get it from india based on your home state jurisdication. you can check immigrationportal.com regd this there might be threads related to this...
